Privacy
Data is a liability. Prairie Labs collects and retains as little as possible. The durable records we expect to keep are activation-code and purchase records, strictly required operational records, and correspondence for work you deliberately commission.
Our rule
We treat retained personal information as hazardous inventory: do not collect it without a specific need, do not reuse it for an unrelated purpose, restrict access, and delete it when that need ends.
We do not build advertising profiles, buy personal information, sell personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
What we retain
- Codes. Records needed to issue, operate, cap, support, and account for activation codes.
- Purchases. The minimum order, payment-reference, transactional email, fulfillment, refund, and dispute records needed to deliver and account for a purchase. Prairie Labs does not receive your full payment-card number.
- Special commissions. The name, organization, email address, scope, and correspondence you deliberately send when asking us to evaluate or perform commissioned work.
- Required records. The minimum records we must keep for security, accounting, dispute resolution, or law.
Ordinary browsing is not a customer record. We do not want a history of what pages you viewed or a behavioral profile of you.
What passes through
A simulation may send the material you enter to the applicable inference provider so it can return the next response. Prairie Labs does not intentionally write that simulation content to a site database.
Stripe processes Store checkout, payment, and billing details. Prairie Labs receives the transaction and customer details needed to reserve inventory, deliver a code, support the order, and handle refunds or disputes.
A commission form is delivered to Prairie Labs as email through Resend. Hosting, security, payment, email, activation, and inference providers may process limited technical information and keep operational logs under their own terms and settings.
Short-lived, in-memory rate limits may use a network address to reject abuse. They are not used to build a customer profile.
Local preferences
Theme, language, and simulation continuity may be stored in your browser. After Store checkout, the purchasing browser also keeps a private claim secret used to retrieve that order's code; it is removed after a successful claim. The claim secret is not the activation code and should not be shared.
Local storage stays on your device unless a feature clearly sends the associated material to a service. We do not use advertising trackers on this experience, so browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals do not change an advertising or sale practice here.
Retention
Activation records remain only while needed to operate and support a code, maintain required business records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
Commission correspondence remains only while we evaluate or perform the work, maintain necessary business records, resolve a dispute, or meet a legal obligation. We delete it when those needs end.
Prairie Labs does not intentionally retain ordinary simulation conversations in a site database.
Service providers
We disclose information only when necessary to run the requested service—for example to Vercel for hosting and security, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for requested email delivery, and the applicable activation or inference provider.
We may also disclose the minimum necessary information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to professional advisers bound by appropriate duties.
Keep sensitive data out
Do not send passwords, private keys, payment-card information, regulated records, trade secrets, or confidential personal information through an initial commission form or ordinary simulation.
We use encrypted transport, access controls, bounded requests, origin checks, and abuse prevention. No system is perfectly secure, which is why collection and retention are minimized first.
Your privacy rights
Email hello@prairielabs.ai to ask what we have, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will honor applicable access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent-withdrawal, and appeal rights.
We may verify the request and may keep the minimum information an applicable exception requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Children
Store purchases and commission requests may be made only by adults age 18 and older. An organization or adult that makes a simulation available to a minor is responsible for appropriate consent, supervision, and notices. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child sent us personal information without it, email us so we can review and delete it.
Who is responsible
Prairie Labs, Inc. is responsible for the practices described here. We are based in the United States, and providers may process information in other countries where they operate.
Questions and privacy requests may be sent to hello@prairielabs.ai.
